The Fondation Notre Dame has been designated by the Ministry of Culture as one of the four official collectors within the framework of the national subscription to restore the Cathedral. In addition, the Foundation has been recognized as a public utility since 1992, date of its creation. Our accounts were audited by the Court of Auditors in 2016, and are published annually.
For any donation made, you will receive a tax receipt, by mail or email. Feel free to contact us if you have any futher question. Thank you for your donation.
The cathedral is not insured, as are many of the historic buildings and monuments owned by the State. Moreover, even if liabilities are released in relation to the companies working on the site at the time of the fire, it is unlikely that the compensation will cover the amount of the restoration.
Mobilized for the restoration of the Cathedral, the Fondation Notre Dame also works all year round to support projects in favour of those who suffer: homeless people, prostitutes, isolated people, children and families in difficulty, refugees and migrants...
Feel free to support the cause you want.
